We do not show mock-ups or student projects. Here are five examples, taken from trades that have nothing in common. These sites are live, with clients who use them every day: B2B industry, family law, online retail, electronic security, criminal defence.

All of them were built in PHP and HTML, with no WordPress and no bought theme. In each case, the source code was handed over to the client.

The starting point

3 Transmissions supplies power transmission components: couplings, chains, gears, linear guidance, motors and gearboxes. The company also does CNC machining.

Thirty years in business, with clients in defence, nuclear, rail and agriculture. Sectors where an approximate part number costs you dearly.

Their site ran on WordPress and described the company. The point of the rebuild was to make it a selling tool: a full catalogue, in six languages, and a quote request reachable from every page.

What we built

  • A complete rebuild, not a new coat of paintThe site moved from WordPress to bespoke code. Design redone, code rewritten. Nothing is left of the original theme, so there is nothing to renew to keep it online.
  • A catalogue in six categoriesStructured for a buyer who knows what they are looking for and wants it in two clicks, not for a visitor discovering the trade.
  • The quote request placed on every product pageThe visitor does not have to go back to find a form. They ask for their price where they are, with the part number already filled in.
  • A reply promised within 24 hoursThe commitment is written next to the form. An industrial buyer often picks the first supplier who answers.
  • No minimum order quantity, stated in black and whiteThat is the rule that unlocks the trial order, the one that opens an account. It was true before. It is visible now.
  • Pages written for technical searchTitles and descriptions written category by category, in the words a design office types, not the words of a brochure.
  • A light siteNo stacked plugins, no page builder. Pages open fast, including from an old machine on a corporate network.

What it makes possible today

A buyer lands on a category, finds the component they want, reads that no minimum quantity will be imposed on them, and asks for their price from the page they are on. The enquiry arrives by email with the detail of the requirement. The reply time is stated to the visitor before they fill in the form, and on a first B2B contact that changes everything.

The site has changed job. It no longer describes the company. It opens files.

The starting point

A practice in Melun, in Seine-et-Marne. Four areas: family law, criminal law, personal injury, health law.

People looking for a lawyer on these subjects are not comparing suppliers. They are going through a hard time and looking for someone to talk to. What they want to know comes down to three questions: when can I be seen, how will it go, and what will it cost.

The site was designed to answer those three questions from the moment you arrive, and to open the way to a first appointment.

What we built

  • A site written area by areaFamily law and personal injury do not speak to the same visitor, or the same worry. Each area has its own page and its own vocabulary.
  • An appointment booking moduleReachable before the form. Booking an appointment is the first thing someone in difficulty looks for.
  • The firm's method in four stepsFrom the first conversation to the end of the proceedings. The visitor sees the path before committing to it.
  • Fees explained in plain wordsIn prose, before the call. No hidden rate card, no figure produced by an automatic calculation.
  • No fee calculatorThe profession's national code of conduct does not allow one. An agency that ignores this puts its client in breach before their own Bar. We rule it out, on this site as on every other.
  • No comparisons, no named testimonialsTwo more conduct rules that most agency templates ignore. Here, trust comes from clarity, not from stars.
  • Pages written for real searchesThe searches of someone describing their situation in their own words, before they know the name of their procedure.

What it makes possible today

Someone who is hesitating understands what will happen before they pick up the phone. They know how soon they will be seen, how the firm runs a case, and on what basis the fees are set.

That is exactly what a lawyer's website can do, and nothing more. The rest is decided at the first appointment.

The starting point

DELFA sells African plants and superfoods. The growers are in Guinea-Bissau, Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Kenya, Guinea and Senegal.

The problem with a catalogue like that comes down to one sentence: the buyer knows how they feel, but not which plant to take or at what dose. An ordinary product page does not answer that question. It waits to be given a name.

There was no shop. Everything had to be built.

What we built

  • A shop built from end to endCatalogue, product pages, basket, ordering, secure payment, tracking. With no platform rented by the month, and therefore no commission on sales.
  • Delfa IA, the recommendation moduleThe visitor describes what they need in one sentence. The site suggests the matching plants and the dose. It is the conversation they would have had in the shop.
  • Subscriptions, for revenue that comes backOn every product page the customer can subscribe, choose a delivery frequency and get a discount. A one-off sale becomes monthly revenue.
  • Traceability shown right down to the growerCountry of origin and growing families, visible from the product page. In this market, origin is the selling point.
  • An admin area for the teamAdd a product, follow an order, update stock. Without calling us, and without an invoice for a change of wording.
  • Pages written for two audiences at onceThe one looking for the name of a plant, and the one looking for an answer to a need. Those are two different ways of typing into Google.
  • Six countries named, with no shortcutsGuinea-Bissau, Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Kenya, Guinea, Senegal. Every origin is named, none is blurred into a vague word.

What it makes possible today

A visitor who knows no plant names leaves with a recommendation and a dose. A visitor who already knows the product goes straight to its page. The site serves both, without mixing them up.

Plenty of shops talk about personal advice and subscriptions. This one does it, on bespoke code, with no platform commission and no plugin rented by the month. That is the direction online selling is taking, and here it is already in production.

The starting point

SEN SECURE is an Île-de-France SME that installs and maintains electronic security: CCTV, intruder detection, access control, electrical work and maintenance. It works for businesses and for households alike, two markets that do not buy in the same way.

A firm like this one presents itself to the people who award the contracts: industrial site managers, retail managers, property management companies. In front of them the site is not a leaflet, it is a piece of credibility. It had to carry the whole business, speak to both markets without mixing them, and turn a visit into a quote request.

What we built

  • Proof before the pitchCertifications, call-out time, guarantee and after-sales availability are set out on the first screen, not buried in an 'about' page.
  • A short, free quote requestIt is the site's only conversion. Everything leads back to it, from any page, with no endless form.
  • Two audiences served without mixing themAn industrial site manager and a homeowner are not looking for the same thing. The journeys split early.
  • The whole business presentedCCTV, intrusion, access control, electrical work, maintenance. One page per service, written around what people type, so that no skill stays invisible.
  • Finished jobs as the argumentInstallations shown rather than described. In a fitting trade, that is what settles it.
  • A careers section inside the siteSix open roles presented and an apply button. Recruiting technicians is a constant issue in this sector, and it is settled on the company's own site, not on a rented platform.

What it makes possible today

A visitor arriving after an attempted break-in finds, within seconds, enough to judge whether the company is serious, then a short form to be called back. A manager preparing a budget finds the services set out in detail and asks for a quote through the same door.

Two practice areas, two ways in, and a news page the firm updates without us.

The starting point

Cabinet DJEMA AVOCATS, based in Paris and Fontainebleau, works in two distinct areas: criminal law, from lesser offences through to the most serious ones, acting for the defence as well as for victims bringing their claim within the criminal case, and compensation for personal injury after a road accident, a medical accident or an accident at work.

These two areas do not speak to the same people. Someone whose relative has been charged and someone seeking an assessment of their injuries after an accident do not arrive in the same frame of mind and are not looking for the same thing. The site had to carry both without one crowding out the other.

The firm is regularly approached by the press. That material existed, but it lived somewhere other than the firm's own site. It needed a place there, and above all the firm needed to be able to add it itself.

What we built

  • Two practice areas, two ways inCriminal law and personal injury each have their own page, their own wording and their own route to an appointment. A visitor knows within one screen whether they are in the right place.
  • A news page kept up by the firmPress appearances and case notes are added from an interface, without calling us and without touching the code. That request shaped the whole redesign.
  • An identity to match the cases handledDeep blue, editorial serif, full width. A criminal defence firm is judged on how serious it looks before anything else, and that is decided on the first screen.
  • Booking an appointment as the only conversionA short form, reachable from any page. Nothing else competes for attention.
  • Readable on a phone firstPeople look for a criminal defence solicitor from a phone, often in a hurry. The pages are designed for that screen before the desktop one.
  • Two practice areas, so two search strategiesOne page per practice area, written around what people actually type. Titles, descriptions and structure were worked on from launch, with the analytics accounts in the firm's name.

What it makes possible today

Someone looking for a criminal defence solicitor on their phone lands on a page that speaks about their situation, not a list of practice areas. Someone seeking compensation for an injury finds that subject treated in its own right, with the procedure explained through to the medical assessment.

And when the firm is quoted in the press, it publishes the news the same day, without going through us. That is the difference between a site you own and a site you rent.

Why this page contains no percentages
